About The Renaissance Foundation

The Renaissance Foundation is a family initiative, founded in the spirit of providing underprivileged children with access to opportunities not otherwise available in their lives. Since its inception in 1997, the contributions made by the Foundation have touched the lives of numerous children, including those who have suffered from abuse or neglect; those whose families have sacrificed to serve our country; and those who are homeless or otherwise in need of fundamental assistance.

The Renaissance Foundation’s Annual Spirit Gift Drive is our flagship endeavor, and its purpose is to ensure that our homeless children are not forgotten during the holiday season. In cooperation with the Education Equal Chance Program, the Foundation provides winter clothing and holiday gifts to homeless children in our local communities and the surrounding areas. Due to the support we have received from our members, donors, friends and volunteers, we have been able to grow this initiative year after year.

The mission of The Renaissance Foundation is to enrich the lives of underserved children in our communities. Children whose needs are not being addressed through other resources are those whose lives we most wish to touch. All of the Foundation’s work is currently being done on a volunteer basis, therefore 100 percent of all donations directly serve our mission. Donations are fully tax deductible and can be made on line by clicking here.

We welcome ideas as to how we might continue to make an inspirational difference in our community – one child at a time.

The Renaissance Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and a privately organized charitable fund existing exclusively for literary, medical, religious, scientific and educational purposes in order to benefit children who would not otherwise receive such gifts, grants and distributions.
